About Us-The Birth of A Cheesecakery

 First Love Cheesecakery is the God-given vision of Chef Rickie Austin, Jr. manifested into reality.

From the time Chef Rickie was able to sit up on his own as an infant, his grandmother sat him on her kitchen table to watch her cook and bake and he was hooked almost immediately! As he got older, he began to cook and bake with his grandmother and a passion for the Culinary Arts was born! First Love Cheesecakery was birthed in 2016 out of Chef Rickie’s kitchen while he was a dialysis patient awaiting and praying for a kidney transplant which he was blessed to receive in 2018. Through all adversity and health challenges, Chef Rickie is determined to see his visions and dreams come true. Because of his faith in God, and a desire to never give up, we are happy to present to you, First Love Cheesecakery. It is our prayer that you are not only blessed to taste and see that the Lord is good through his food, but also to be encouraged to pursue your dreams and never quit!

Chef Rickie is blessed to have his high school sweetheart and wife of nearly 20 years, Janelle by his side as co-owner and co laborer! He knows that without her by his side, this would not be anything but an idea! A HUGE THANK YOU, MRS. AUSTIN!
